Party like a skirmish

Yesterday I helped Guaguanco with some Skirmishes, the ones from Moria. While we were running in those places, the challenge was kinda low, he is lvl 66 and I'm lvl 61, so the Skirmish were more for my level than for him. (I was the Leader of the Fellowship and I hate to miss all my attacks). Since he was just looking forward to unlock those skirmishes and it was kinda late, we decided to run them fast and easy expecting that eventually we could run them at the same level.

During the run, we realize that it was kinda weird all those banners buff lights effects, and even more if you were with a Hunter with Light and fire arrows and a Runekeeper with all their flashy attacks... it were more like a party rather than a real fight to death in the deeps of Moria...

First part against the last boss at the Deep Way.

Same fight, the bad guy dying and the banner's light...

The Battle for the Deep Way its a good skirmish especially when you have done at least 40k times Gondamon and Tuckborought, one good and bad thing about this place are the closed spaces in where you have to fight your enemies. as Range character its kinda great since you have all your enemies in a row, so your traps (As hunter) works greatly and you AoE traps and attacks will hurt everyone no matter what, you can even use Split shot and hit the three targets normally without thinking too much. But once the enemies are at melee range, things goes a little bit more weird, specially with Trolls and those that have a massive size. Lag, sometimes, becomes a little bit of a trouble too. In this fight our rare encounters were some Globsnaga dude and some Beast, kinda easy to kill but what bothered us were the times between running to where they were and the respawn of the waves.

After that, you have the one at the Forges, I thought that I could just shoot my enemies from the stairs but I didnt realize that sometimes its a bit more distant that it looks and my attacks dont have that range. We got two Rare encounters in here that were barely interesting, the spider didnt last too much and the fire elemental was more like a joke rather than a serious enemy.

Well, at least this one looks normal... nothing to worry about, except perhaps for my light arrow effects and..
oh.. wow... nevermind...
Now, the most intense was 21 halls, not because it was the harder one but becuase I was sleepy and I'm pretty sure that he was looking forward to log off as well, was quite late at night and we had work the next day.. so.. Well, 21 halls its pretty fun, somewhow tells you that basically the Dwarves dont have a chance if they hide in the Mazarbul chamber... In fact, in the game you have a chance, but be honest: Our enemies are just idiots that sends waves... They should send them all at the same time if they really want to win the fight. In this part, we got a little bit disappointed with the Rare encounters, one of them were just 3 simple goblins trying to rob the vaults and the other was just some random scout that died in like 20 secs, Gua and I using all the longest skills to cast.

At the end, they left us running from the north part and the south part of the hall of Mazarbul, kinda annoying but I guess that it helped us to stay awake, until the last fight was declared. Inside the chamber of Mazarbul. In this part we had no torubles at all, Gua almost died until I finally got all the aggro and gave him enough time to heal himself a lot, and we dropped all the buffs at almost the same time to help us a bit... At the end, we were like in a Disco dancing with this ugly troll.

*Party rock is in the house tonight
Everybody just have a good time*
*And we gonna make you lose your mind
Everybody just have a good time*
/Dance & /attack
But the big fellow died and the party was over...
Except for those banners, that seems to last a long deal...
So here is the trick, if you are looking forward to fight on this places with a normal fellowship or even maybe with a Raid group, take in consideration that as long as you use all the banners at the same time, you will be helping (possibly) the enemies in winning this fight. Lag can be horrible, 10+ players and 10+soldiers, plus enemies and light effects, plus all the shinny attacks from the Lore masters, Runekeepers, Minnies and all the shouting... Lag its gonna kill you all.

Unless you think it in this way: 10+ players and 10+soldiers, plus enemies and light effects, plus all the shinny attacks from the Lore masters, Runekeepers, Minnies and all the shouting = Skirmish like a party!

Well, I gotta go again, lunch time and still bored at work so I'll work somewhere near and eat something different, have a good time my friends and good luck! See you later :3 good hunting :)
