From my To do list...

I did nothing really.. well, I only wroked on my background once I arrive home, but nothing else that a thrid skecth. I tried to run inside the Great Barrows and for some reason those guys were hard to kill. I remember that some posts ago.. lots of post ago, I say that one of the things hat I like about this game was how hard it was getting and no matter how high level you where, it was hard to kill the bosses right there.

Well, I killed a guy, who was a boss I think, that at the end drops lots and lots of acid worms and a chest to loot... with Marks and bounty rewards and stuff. But after that guy, I got lost, but L-O-S-T. inside that place and strated to talk with the friend´s of the Kin. And for some reason I went out, walked to Thorin´s halls, got my Windwill for the house and my Toy version of the Windmill... Which both of them are actually pretty cool IF you have a hobbit house or maybea human house...

Sadly, mine is Elvish style, is it makes it just a bit... Unusual... I will take a screen today of my home and stuff,I have benworking hard to ake it a better lace. In fact, yesterday I got some new items for it, bookshelfs, tables, the both Anniv. items; it´s kinda great right now.. And also I paid the upkeep (I usually forgot about that).

But what it was left of the list, I must say that my head was somehwere else, between having a hard time at work and a horrible time with my girlfriend, I´m basically stuck at a point that it seems that  I care about nothing; a point that hopefully once al of this is solved, is going back to normality.

Well, also I went to sleep earlier.. to woke up earlier... and I did! Woot! I woke up at 6:10 when I was expecting to woke up at 6:30, to be ready to drive at work at 8:10! Then, I fell asleep and I just woke up, and it´s already 8:21, so I gotta go! good luck everyone! I wish you the best day ever and a great hunting!

To do list...

Yes, since today I have some part of the nigh free... I'm going to make a small list of things to do in Lotro and outside Lotro.

1) Gonna visit the Great Barrows... I'm lvl 51, how hard that could be now?

All that I need...

2) Raise a bit Scholar... I hate looking at all the Sage's lockers in Moria and not be able to use them.

I have seen like 700k of this...

3) Work on my Blog's and Twitter's Background (Which I'm already working on right now)

It was the only, normal, working stuff that I found...
and it took me a LOT of time to download it.. Safari was just dumb.

4) Gonna do a group skirmish or Instance... Can't be sure about how is gonna end, but I have to do it...

That's all that I'm gonna do today, it is possible that Great Barrow last like 5 minutes or less, since I have the feeling that is kinda nasty even for a medium high lvl like me. Scholar's cuties is kinda easy, as long as the Auction House is not that expensive... of course.

In my background for the blog and the Twitter account... well, I have what I like in mind, I just need to make it real, which is taking me some time, but since I have been doing nothing in the last 45 minutes, I decided to sketch some things in a lonely paper that I had kinda near, it's getting better now, but still is not 100% of my likeness.

So... the group stuff... I know that I'm looking to do things like this, but I'm quite a loner player in the game. It is true that some kin friends have been gathering from time to time ppl to make something together, specially for us the low lvls... And I'm always hidden, quiet shadowy figure in the kin chat when that times arrive... Its time to try it again, like that skirmish that I did so long ago.. so freaking long ago... hehe.

Talking about classes... Minstrels

Well, the time has finally come, and about Minstrels I have to talk now. Time ago, when the world was created, its fate was defined by music; reason why the music its so important in the Tolkien's universe. The Minstrel is the primary healer class of the game, even with few spell for healing, the power of each one is extremely potent and fast. Also, Minstrels can be Dps and Buffer class, even if I think that the Buffer class is not good enough... but nah, ignore me, I'm a dps from the heart.

I can speak about this class with more propierty than about the others, Varsalla is a Minstrel and she it's my main, already at lvl 51 and leveling in the deeps of Moria doing quests with at least 3 lvls more than her. Minstrels are, even if they dont seems too, extremely good at Soloing. The excesive emergency buttons that they have are enough to avoid several death chances. Specially "Still as dead" skill, which resets all aggro and makes the enemy ignore you.

Still, this class is not like playing in the easy mode, it has been on my attention that deep further in the game, the medium armor for minstrels is nt what it used to be at earlier levels, so in the same way that enemies are getting stronger, your armor is going a bit down... and you are nuking sometimes real fast. Fears, feign death, instant heals, debuffs, attacks that grants buffs for the Minstrel, stuns... all of this is found in the Minstrels armory of skills.

The traits of the Minstrels are divided in 3 easy ways: Healers, Damage per Second and Buffers.

The Watcher of Resolve:
If you like to keep your group alive and healthy without expose yourself to the fron line of the battle, the Healer trait is for you. I, in my own opinion, found this a bit stressing but sometimes is fun. They are the most wanted class in a group, since Tanks are plenty and Dps... Well... Everyone is Dps.

LF1M: Healer, Minis only plz! (I hate that!)

The Protector of SOng:

The Buffer trait for the Minstrels, based in debuffing the enemy a bit and making your allies a bit stronger in battle while you do some dps as well. Also, his power is barely depleted (For what I read in some posts) in battle, not like Dps qhich they actually have serious troubles with power, like healers too. If you like to be in the middle of the battle, attacking, helping and healing... Maybe this is the trait for you; to be honest: I never used anything from this trait.

"Are you READY to ROOOOOOOCK?!!!!"

The Warrior-Skald:
This is the Bloodthirsty, barbarian mode of Mintrels. Even if you look at them as a light-effect box, all their attacks are nasty. Not only with the high critical chance that they are granted by fate, but by the spells, traits and everything else. Their deadly attacks can buff him and debuff his enemies at the same time for a short time, sometimes enough to fix any "Trouble" with someone. Yet, they lack of healing power... Since they need to have a Dps mode on (Warspeech), the healing effects of their spells are pretty low, and they can be barely used in battle. Always keep some potions with you.

annoying character in any Anime or something...

I like Minstrels, I love Minstrels in fact, and I do recommend them as well. Yet, keep in mind that you need to be focused in the moment of the game and you need to be swift in your attacks, or you re as good as dead.

Well, this is the end, my friends, for my point of view of the classes. I left Minis at the end for obvious reasons and I started a Captain just to see how good they were, and I guess that I have to say a overall opinion of the classes... right?

All of them are good enough to try it eventually, just be sure that you can find which suits you more and what do you wanna do with it. If you are focused on Dpsing, maybe in healing or Tanking, if you wanna do fast attacks or maybe some slowers attacks that are as triple as stronger than the fast ones. One handed weapons? Two handed? Dual weapons, perhaps? Light, medium or heavy armor? Range or Melee? you need to have all of this in mind at the moment of picking a class and a race.

The Waterworks!

Well, it was just matter fo time to find the place that will keep my heart grabbed with all the strenght of the world... In Moria... Outside the game is Norway... Long story... But inside the game, the place is inside Moria and is know as "The Waterworks".

See, I like ruins, I like dark places, I love Castlevania and I'm completely lost for Lord of the Rings... And from this 4 things, Waterworks has them all. And maybe even more, I've been inside the waterworks just a bit... Let say that its a hostile place for a lvl 51 like me :(

I know that I was gonna write about this a little bit early, but I woke up late and had to make some errands kinda fast and I didnt had chance to check the blog, I'm so sorry about that, its my fault 100%. But here I am, and I'm ready to talk about this AWESOME place called The Waterworks, located at the south of Moria, in the lower levels.

When I walked inside, my first sight was this:

I need to say that I wanted to jump down, to have a better view of the place but then, lookign again the heights, I realize that was not good idea, so I walked the hallway complete and finally, I had a better view:

This is so FREAKING amazing!

I love this place... 

I really, really...

Love it!

It is normal, in each game, that few players eventually find a place that connects them in many weird ways, maybe because the place reminds you something, or looks alike some other place in some other game, movie, or maybe because you fall in love with the design of the place. In this case, this place reminds me a lot to Castlevania and that's a big pro in its side.

Frogs ae serious business in here...

Sadly, this place ask for more experienced players, at least 1 or maybe 2 levels above mine. I'm still, as I said, lvl 51, but I think that I run out of quests in the previous two zones in where I was lately... The main entrance and the SIlvertine lodes... I guess that maybe I need to check North of the entrance, To Durin's "Something"... But... But i want to be in here!

IF I had the sacred whip of Castlevania...

Pfffftttt Awesome... wordless in fact...

I did a small expedition inside this part, but eventually I had to use my map to go out, enemyes were getting stronger and bigger and my escape routes were basically blocked... Well.. not "blocked" I just jumped several times from some heights, broke my leg several times... and I didnt know my way back...

 

Hallway to hell... Honestly... to HELL...

I've been thinking in checking a bit the Roleplay in here (Lotro), sadly, there are two things that stop me for now: 1) It's hard to find Rp players in US servers, even if many of us are flagged as RP (White names above us) we are mostly focused in questing and dungeons. And 2) Who is gonna do Roleplay with me in the waterworks? It's kinda far and it's not a easy place for now... I guess that I will have to visit the lower lands in Eriador for that...

I had the same trouble in WoW, in my WoW time... I was connected in this very same way with Feralas. Such a awesome place, right?

Back to Sims 2...

Well, today I did mostly 3 things: games, series & movies and writing. it´s a good way to spend a a weird sunday, right? and in each one I did some great things. Obviously, I´m gonna start with a small reume at Lotro: I think that I found the BEST. ZONE. EVER. in the game for me... The Waterworks, in Moria... It´s so good that I´m gonna make another post for that one, and It will be uploaded tomorrow for sure.

The reason why I´m not gonna do it now it simple, I wanna make a mall resume of the things that happened today AND that the waterworks requires at least one or maybe two more levels to walk in there. I´m lvl 51 and some of the mobs were mostly 54 - 56.

Anyway, I watched Game of Thrones, which was perfect, but I already talked about that so I´m gonna skipped for now. In my writing duties... Well, I was with my muse kinda "Hidden" from my sight and for some reason I started to write in english. I dont know why, I just started and somehow I have already 5 pages of a alternative starting for one bok that I have in mind. It´s amazing how another language  makes me work better sometimes. Did I say before that I playe better magic with my Zombie deck that is in Italian?... Did you had any idea that II´m actually THAT freak? :)

It was good to have some words in your document that you could read and say: "Well... I like this..." either than "Did I was sleeping when I wrote this?" or "Oh... oh... oh! what the..!!"

And to complete my day, I decided to make a stop in Lotro for the night, right now I´m passing through some hard days in my personal life, nothing serious, but this makes me wonder in the morning if I should burn all the content that I have to keep my mind clear and ready for anything... So, no.. I´mnot gonna burn it, it such a horrible idea, so I´m going slowly this time. Besides, leveling in lotro at this point, it´s kinda slowly. Even more without my goat :(

But anyway, I ended again with Sims 2... and I had a weird, WEIRD day at Sims 2. look for yourself: First of all, I´m going to say that I ended all the levels in art... and I had paintings with Simone Simons (Epica´s singer), Feng zhu Illustrations and many others great stuff (Mostly thanks to the optin of uploading pics from your pc).. so I decided to try it the "Free style"... and this is what I got...

This is.. disturbing... seriously...

And this has no sense at all...

This makes me wonder.. If I reached lvl 10 in creativity... means that my paintings are going to be like this? It dont like it... I like more the mode for uploading, *seslynod* After that, My character started to become crazy...

and ended punching the wall...

So I decided to make a little experiment.... I thought "What IF I dont make any friendship for two days or even call someone?" Well, I did it and I got the results---

A "imaginary" bunny appeared...

...We had a fight...

...And then we.. we... I dont know what we were doing in there...

After that, I had to work hard my "friendships" to avoid that disturbing imagien of the bunny jumping, fighting, dancing around... Oh god... the horror... So well, I started to tal with the only toon available in the game, or at least thats what I think, since I have only meet her so far. But I have the feeling that she is a serial killer.. or a stalker...

First, all started with a simple chess game...

Then she went to my room, where I have a COFFIN in which I sleep INSIDE...
To play that silly, but sometimes funny, game...

...And calls me in unusal times... to talk about kissing...
Imean, I do nothave a problem, but why talking about kissing by PHONE?

Honestly.. she is crazy... nuts... I´m pretty sure about that. But well, one good thing is that at least I had my Platinium bar up to the top after telling her like 40 jokes, give her massages, admired her as well and many other things.

I wa shoping for a extra bonus of something with that full bar, but nope...
Nothing happen.

See? a weird dayin the Sims 2... Anyway, it´s kinda late for me now, so I´m gonna sleep, I´ll see you tomorrow early with the preview of Varsalla in the Waterworks... which is such a GREAT and AWESOME place... It´s like play Castlevania and Lotro at the same time...

Lost in Moria

When someone asks me what I´m doing in Moria, I can only answer: I have no idea. The only reason why for my answer is the fact that the 70% of my time there, I´m lost, and if I´m not lost, I´m selling all the stuff that I got from the kills that I had to do while I was lost... or crying about the other half of things that I left in the mobs corpses coz i had no space on my back pack.... and crying then coz I know that I can´t go and get back... becuase I dont know where they are...

The only thing that I dont like about Moria is the map of the zone... at least in where I am, south of the second camp, I do believe that it´s Silvertines lode, yet I can´t be sure... I´m not an expert in the names of each zone of Moria.

But in what anythign else I have to talk about: I just simple love Moria. I´ve never thought that the idea of leveling in a external cave was so great until now, and even if I have that small fear on me that tells me that eventually I´m gonna get sick of it, for the moments it´s just awesome. In fact, I barely travel outside moria with Back to Rivendell spell... only If I have to check something important or somethign that requires Varsalla.. If not, any of my alts can go for her.

There´s not a lot of light.. but atleast those crystals helps a lot.

Wondering what could happen if I taste one of these...

 one thing that I like about Moria is the fact that is a HUGE ruin.. I have something for Ruins and I find them intriguing and fascinating; and Moria has lots of them... Everywhere, with thousand of stairs... Thousands...

Stairs... there are everywhere...

Honestly.. everywhere...

I´m not lying... EVERYWHERE...

 What I really liked about the Riddle quest in this part of the game was actually the last plaque... it was empty but it has the actual riddle on it. sadly, it was kinda easier to complete, but I wont be sayin the answer here, I dotn wanna spoil anything :)

 Hopefully, I´m going to the waterworks today, ot so sure if my level is appropiate but I´m gonna try it. the Worst thing that could happen to me is dying, which in this game is not that bad.... ceppy, right?

And I was shocked...

At the end of the second episode of Game of Thrones. Completely shocked with what I saw in that Tv Show.

As some of you know, few days ago I saw the first episode of Games of Thrones and I barely had some idea of what this Tvshow was about. I need to say that I didnt made a research, just went directly and saw it and I was delighted with it. Since Lord of the Rings films, the medieval theme have been, in short words, "Raped" by several things such as movies, tv shows, games, books...

Almost like what happened with the Vampies and Twilight... Once this books started to get their movies, EVERYONE was writting and doing something about vampires.. and Sorry, I´m really, really sorry, but I need to say, to state how much I hate Twilight, sadly the humanity lcks of such words to express it and only "I totally hate it" is the way that I can use. Also, I have not read any book and I heard the critics that says both things, that the books are great and that the book sucks as the movie as well. and I´m not going to read them.

Anyway, this post is not to talk about such thing as Twilight, (And I´m trying to be polite) but to talk about Games of Thrones. Even if we are in those 10 years were almost everything is medieval theme and everyone wants to sucess at it, and I´m guilty as well since all my writings are about medieval things inspired and I´m heavily inspired in Tolkien... and sometimes in H. P. Lovecraft, but only "sometimes", I think that this Tv show has gone in the perfect path.

When I saw the first episode, I found out that Game of thrones was a book first, I didnt know this since, in my country, the libraries are kinda basic: If the book is a top seller of the year: they had it... if it´s a old, top seller book in a fanstasy, horror, mistery or fiction.. you need to wait for their movie (If they are gonna make one) to buy it.. or use amazon. So well, I didnt know about this books.

I see this as a gift, since I can watch the episodes and enjoy each one and then I can read the book (Which I´m already looking for) to complete my addiction.

The second episode was just shocking, and makes you want, need or ask for another like a crazy.. at the end I was like: "Wait.. No, no no no, no, no .. wait! NOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!". The characters, the ambient, the clothes, everythign is worthy in this Tv Show, extremely worthy. And thisis a good sign: When someone makes each episode with real love, things goes more than perfect... And each episode was maded with it.

The only one thing that I dont like... I need to wait to watch another episode... But that´s just part of the unfair world of the Tv Shows. If I recommend the first episode in a good way, now I´m recomming the second episode badly, it´s more than worthy to see it.

This character makes me fell two things.. in one hand it bores me, but
in the other hand it intrigues me a lot...

But this is the best character so far for me in the Tv show.
