instances, Enedwaith and Dunland

Well, not in that order, was how I did say good bye to lvl 64 and started lvl 65 two days ago in Lotro. I was leveling on Mirkwood when suddenly, Xeneca, asked me to go inside a instance that i never done before. Of course it was impossible for me to decline such offer so I just went without asking and logged on the kin's Teamspeak to have fun. Once again, my Teamspeak config. was kinda... weird and my mic was not working, but we were using both teamspeak and fellow-chat to communicate each other.

I dont remeber the instance, but the last boss was this Gorothul dude (or something like that), the same dude that kidnapped the Dwarf at Moria, Bori I think. Geez.. I'm terrible bad for names lately, specially in this game... we were there just for fun and also because Xeneca need it the place for some reason, and I was not expecting any loot as well, only fused relics that I could use to improve my weapons and perhaps some runes, and I got some, quite enough in fact,

We, killing some fire guy, Lots of fire and lots of eyes in that fight...

*Castlevania soundtrack*

This fight was terrible boring if you take in mind that the other two involved a bit more of strategy.
Until the adds appeared... of course.
Soon after we ended that fight, I ended few quests left in Mirkwood and reached lvl 65 for good, and even if I love so much Mirkwood, I decided to leave it at the middle since I still had Enedwaith and Dunland to visit. My first road was directly to Dunland in where in fact I completed several quests at the Bonevales but following some advices from Belsar, our kin leader, I step back to Enedwaith and take advantage of those quests that will help me to reach lvl 75 without doing any daily at Isengard for Exp rewards.

It was in Dunland where I found out that I was wrong all the time. complaining about my Minnie when she was leveling was completely unnecessary. Minnies were not that hard to level up taking in mind that most of your attacks had second effects, such as fear, stun or slow movement... And most of them were instant and you could cast them on the run. I had some troubles in Dunland with the skeletons at the Bonevales and those quests took me a while, I was draining my power so fast and the damage was not the best damage ever so  it was there when I asked for help in the forum.

Not yet Dunland... but soon... veeeeeery soon...
Enedwaith its not a bad place to leveling up, yet I was expecting to get ready a little bit faster than usual for raids and instances and that means: Dunlands. Going back into the last zone that I were with Varsalla is more like a Deja vu, its more than boring... its quite like a boring Deja vu. All the quests were so fresh in my mind that I was aware about almost everything that could happened and I worked as a touristic guide for Guaguanco, the Runekeeper, in venturing inside those lands.

Me in Dunland, escaping from wolves that are labelled as
Ancient evil. Goats that are also labelled as Ancient evil and Boars...
Also, ancient evil...
one of my old skill: "Useless screen" its passive and cost no power.
Today I reached lvl 66 with Khas, it took me a bit since I were mostly running up and down, marking some paths and cleaning a bit my bank. but finally I'm ready in the extra 10 levels of Isengard, hopefully I'll be 68 before leaving Enedwaith so Dunland its not going to be easier but also fast and my hit cap will occurs before Isengard dailies :)

Believed or not, this post took me at least 1 hour and a half, lots of things going up at work right now and my duties insist to keep me away from the screen. I have to go, again, so I will be back later, possibly with a random post since I didnt had enough time for screen in the past few days. :( Have a good day my friends and good luck!

Raiding with Hispania.

This weekend was kinda lots of raiding duties for the few hours that I had to game in Lotro. As usual, I had to work on my noob movements since this was my first time assisting as DPS instead of healing, and specially with a hunter, which was kinda awfully sometimes. specially in that fight in were we (DPS) had to keep a controlled dps against the guy that heals himself each time that you hit him while he has the green shield up. but after few tries, everything went great, my noobs duties were less with the passing of time and we ended all that place. Dar Narbugub was the raid, so far, the only one that I have been doing in Lotro.

I wont denied that I kinda hate that raid and that I want to do new things, but the truth is that I'm with Khas right now and I want to complete all the raids no matter what, get all the title and get all the experience of game play in every fight, either for good or for bad. I just need one boss from here to get the last Title, since the raid was already started when I joined the fight.

Gallithil and Chile healing us in the middle of this mess.
Talking about this with some friends that has never been in Lotro before they just said that they dont understand why some high levels would do a Raid that its not a challenge for them, well, the answer is easy (as I told them): Rise of Isengard had only one raid and it was not enough, so until monday (Today, by the way) they will be running all the raids just for fun. Which is good since it allows us (The new ones) to work in group with the one that have lots of time in the kinship, and I must say that the strategies between them and the OSF were quite different.

Part of the Raid, standing and chatting while we were waiting for others.
The fights in here were not so hard, just a bit of practice and patience while everyone sets up in their places, and everything could go perfect. The fight that took us a bit more of time was against Flagit due his green flames and his overpowered way to get heal with it. its awfully since the most insignificant DoT or auto attack could heal him 20k or more. and I died several times due the eye explosion but well, everyone surely went for that as well eventually.

Lots of lights and fire... pretty sure that they know that we are here.
From the fight against the Blind one I have no screen, gotta be honest: I totally forgot. Yet, I have some sort of funny story to tell about this place, while we were working to set up us in the places, Gallithil was asking for me since I was not near her for heals and since we were on Team speak I started to talk but suddenly i was like: Dude... I'm totally ignored... I remember that I said: (in spanish) "I'm here, just at you side" while jumping and casting some focus spells, but she didn't saw me, until I wrote it on the Raid channel,  I even said few jokes (Bad ones) and no one said anything. Even after the raid I was talking but I got no answer at all at any time. At the beginning I started to get a bit mad, but then I just didnt gave importance to the matter and went to play alone... Well, the noob news is that my Microphone was plugged on the computer, since belongs to the head set, but I totally forgot that this head set had double connection for the Mic (Yes, something weird, you can even use your Mic without the entire set) and that one, was half unplugged... I love to be a noob sometimes :3 I need to apologize with them today about that, even if they dont know that I was kinda piss of jeje.

Anyway, we reached the last part of the and we were like: There's a huge chance that we are not going to succeed but at least lets give it a try... The first phase was kinda dumb, just kill some guys, full dps and nothing else more... the second phase was pretty almost the same, but against the big fat thing in the middle of the room... and the third phase were like:

*cough, cough* what the...?

*Raid leader* Remember the adds fellows, kill the ASAP because they...

*Random voice* The adds! the adds! I'm gonna dieeeee! kill them!
And we won. Yes, one shooted the fat thing in the middle of the room without any trouble, keeping in mind that we didnt know the fight pretty well. I was kinda lost, and in fact, the only part that I hear it on the explanation was: "Kill the adds, if they dont die the player that its mezzed is gonna died in 10 seconds". So, in the entire fight I was looking forward the adds, making the second phase a little bit confuse for me.

Hispania photo, Dar narbugud's end.
I'm looking foward for a first age weapon just for fun, but I think that I'm gonna pass for the moments, I'm about to hit lvl 65 and I'm thinking in skip all Enedwaith in order to go directly to Dunland and from there: the end game.

Well, gotta go, the day at work its over and i want to hit home fast, have a good time my friends and see you later on game! Good hunting as well :3

Diablo 3 Opening its revealed!

I were not cheating on turbine, I swear it, I just got a bit of curiosity to see if my account was still under my grasp (Since, sadly, Blizz is well know for the hacking stuff) when suddenly I saw the Diablo 3 Opening...

I'm still under shock and speechless so I'll be back in a few hours... Enjoy it... :3

More info, you can check at the same place where I founded the video:  Diablo 3 Opening

Good luck everyone, and see you later!

Party like a skirmish

Yesterday I helped Guaguanco with some Skirmishes, the ones from Moria. While we were running in those places, the challenge was kinda low, he is lvl 66 and I'm lvl 61, so the Skirmish were more for my level than for him. (I was the Leader of the Fellowship and I hate to miss all my attacks). Since he was just looking forward to unlock those skirmishes and it was kinda late, we decided to run them fast and easy expecting that eventually we could run them at the same level.

During the run, we realize that it was kinda weird all those banners buff lights effects, and even more if you were with a Hunter with Light and fire arrows and a Runekeeper with all their flashy attacks... it were more like a party rather than a real fight to death in the deeps of Moria...

First part against the last boss at the Deep Way.

Same fight, the bad guy dying and the banner's light...

The Battle for the Deep Way its a good skirmish especially when you have done at least 40k times Gondamon and Tuckborought, one good and bad thing about this place are the closed spaces in where you have to fight your enemies. as Range character its kinda great since you have all your enemies in a row, so your traps (As hunter) works greatly and you AoE traps and attacks will hurt everyone no matter what, you can even use Split shot and hit the three targets normally without thinking too much. But once the enemies are at melee range, things goes a little bit more weird, specially with Trolls and those that have a massive size. Lag, sometimes, becomes a little bit of a trouble too. In this fight our rare encounters were some Globsnaga dude and some Beast, kinda easy to kill but what bothered us were the times between running to where they were and the respawn of the waves.

After that, you have the one at the Forges, I thought that I could just shoot my enemies from the stairs but I didnt realize that sometimes its a bit more distant that it looks and my attacks dont have that range. We got two Rare encounters in here that were barely interesting, the spider didnt last too much and the fire elemental was more like a joke rather than a serious enemy.

Well, at least this one looks normal... nothing to worry about, except perhaps for my light arrow effects and..
oh.. wow... nevermind...
Now, the most intense was 21 halls, not because it was the harder one but becuase I was sleepy and I'm pretty sure that he was looking forward to log off as well, was quite late at night and we had work the next day.. so.. Well, 21 halls its pretty fun, somewhow tells you that basically the Dwarves dont have a chance if they hide in the Mazarbul chamber... In fact, in the game you have a chance, but be honest: Our enemies are just idiots that sends waves... They should send them all at the same time if they really want to win the fight. In this part, we got a little bit disappointed with the Rare encounters, one of them were just 3 simple goblins trying to rob the vaults and the other was just some random scout that died in like 20 secs, Gua and I using all the longest skills to cast.

At the end, they left us running from the north part and the south part of the hall of Mazarbul, kinda annoying but I guess that it helped us to stay awake, until the last fight was declared. Inside the chamber of Mazarbul. In this part we had no torubles at all, Gua almost died until I finally got all the aggro and gave him enough time to heal himself a lot, and we dropped all the buffs at almost the same time to help us a bit... At the end, we were like in a Disco dancing with this ugly troll.

*Party rock is in the house tonight
Everybody just have a good time*
*And we gonna make you lose your mind
Everybody just have a good time*
/Dance & /attack
But the big fellow died and the party was over...
Except for those banners, that seems to last a long deal...
So here is the trick, if you are looking forward to fight on this places with a normal fellowship or even maybe with a Raid group, take in consideration that as long as you use all the banners at the same time, you will be helping (possibly) the enemies in winning this fight. Lag can be horrible, 10+ players and 10+soldiers, plus enemies and light effects, plus all the shinny attacks from the Lore masters, Runekeepers, Minnies and all the shouting... Lag its gonna kill you all.

Unless you think it in this way: 10+ players and 10+soldiers, plus enemies and light effects, plus all the shinny attacks from the Lore masters, Runekeepers, Minnies and all the shouting = Skirmish like a party!

Well, I gotta go again, lunch time and still bored at work so I'll work somewhere near and eat something different, have a good time my friends and good luck! See you later :3 good hunting :)

Foundations of Stones...

One of the places that I promised to myself that I will never go back again. After surviving with Varsalla all for a very long time, doing quests and dying, not even mentioning the fact that I went lost several times, I learned my lesson: Some places on the middle earth are meant not to be visited. Foundations of Stone is surely one of those.

Yesterday I was talking with Guaguanco (The Dwarf) about the who designed that place... My theory is that the guy who designed the zone was the boyfriend of the one that made the map, they both had this terrible fight and not her or even him were going to apologize. Still, they had to finish the work and sadly they were working "together". Obviously, they didnt cross a word during all the project and thats why the map its so confusing and the zone looks like if it was designed with someone with a lot of rage in his soul. Guaguanco only assures that he, or those, who made this zone are just evil and they dont deserve to be love or even care about... Among other insults, that for obvious reasons I'm not gonna put in here.

Either way, the zone its dangerous, horrible, dizzy and confusing, and still you can't escape from its clutches: The Epic book of Moria, like it or not, sent you there.

Just look at this... in one second everything look like a cave...

Then, suddenly, it looks like hell...
Angmar and FOundations of stones are the two places that I really feel that I dont really have to go, sadly, BOTH are freaking important in this game, no matter if is for the Epic book, the Epic, epic book or just for some legendary traits, those places were designed to be hated, and to be travelled... like it or not. Thanks to the Valars, this was not my first time there, so I got all the trick written in a small book and almost the zone routes engraved in my mind to easy my pain.

Hell must be prettier...
The ugly part of this zone its not that its big, which is in fact kinda huge, but most of the West part is a labyrinth where everything its at the same place in the mini map. The rest of the map, almost from the beginning of the middle from the west part until the very end of the west part is basically a lake... a green lake...

Just swim with your eyes closed and avoid swallowing the water...
Everything should be fine...
It is obviously that this place its important, since this is where Gandalf and the Balrog landed after they fell off from the bridge of Khazad-Dum, and the epic book its all about that, find out what happened with them. The first hint is the well, placed burned hat of Gandalf gently reposing in the middle of the small island at the middle of the huge lake. After that, you have to climb the endless stairs which are in fact kinda endless, and find out that perhaps Gandalf its still alive. No matter if you read the book or watched the movie and you know that he is alive, in the game, remember that your character doesnt know that. That's why you have to go to that place... to find out that...

Random, burned hat appear!

Elite Trolls, everywhere!
After that, you found out that a new kind of devilry is going up down there... did I just butchered the english saying "Its going up down there"? Well, if I didm sorry about that, hehe. Anyway, the elves of Lorien, that for some reason are there and no one in the first hall noticed when they went inside, asks you to go heroic in the deeps of some cave, inside this cave, and put a end to this.

After making some food and getting ready to the cave...
I said yes, I'll go...
I really dunno that this water its actually water...
Fought against trolls, Orcs and goblins...

And saw how this thing killed all the orcs in one hit... And then I had to kill it.
That fight was a lot easier with Varsalla, maybe its just because she could run and attack at the same time while Khas had to stop, aim and shoot... and I was not following any strategy, I just started to shoot like a crazy and run all over the room. but at the end, I won the fight the fight and they sent me to Haldir so I could have a meeting with Galadriel at Lorien...

And that's all, I'm out forever this place again! happy christmas to me! never go back into that horrible, depressing place again :)

Honeslty, its not a bad zone, I'm just being a bit dramatic, but one things its for sure, you are going to hate it, its normal, all red, all the enemies are red, you will need to use the name plaque above the enemies heads since they looks just alike the ambient and mostly of them are signature, the map its not gonna help you there, still, the map usually dont help you in Moria either... if you are lvl capped and you are bored, and you dont want to do silly daily quests and want something new, visit this place, as a tourist. While you are in the lvl range: think it twice.

Well, I gotta go, need to fix some screens for the next post, about skirmishes with Guaguanco and i got plenty of screens... lots of them in fact :( And since the office has been quite slow this week, I guess that I'm just killing time.. literally killing time... healthy time that I could be using to do anything else... like sleep :(

Good luck my friends and have a great hunting!

Epic music is epic, epic voice is epic.

Gonna be honest, I usually use Youtube for funny stuff, sometimes just to search for a song that I have stuck in my head and I can't get it out of there, and sometimes just because someone links me a video that I have to watch. But honestly, all that happens very rarely. In fact, almost never. The chances for a rare to appear in lotro are epic higher than me using Youtube. Mostly its just because there are some people that just download the video and then upload it again claiming that belong to them... which is a dreadful move... And since I dont like that kind of war, linking the right video or not, which belong to whom and which dont, I barely use Youtube. Well, there's also those videos where its basically all filled with notes that are not funny or even interesting...

But one day, I was looking for searching for some Star wars videos, I started with videos about jedi squirrels, then I saw one or two cat video and I barely escaped alive, and while I was watching Darth Vader trolling again and again and again, I ended looking at some Skyrim videos, about how to make 500000000000 cheeses fall from a mountain, or those awesome headshots with arrows and stuff, when suddenly...

(Since I dont want to overload this with videos, I'm gonna use random pics from the internet)

"hehe funny"

"Well.. this is getting old..."

"That's a lot of cheese"

Then, Malukah happens...

There's a good chance for many of you dont know her at all, in fact, know just only few videos of her on youtube and I'm expecting more to see, so here, let me help you to know her at least a bit... (sorry, I was just signing in the webpage were she have all her music...) ok, were I was, yes, right, her. As a former WoW player and a Lotro player, a endless watcher of good epic movies and noob writer and illustrator, I use a lot of epic music from games or movies to get inspired or sometimes just to calm the inner rage in which I usually live.

Walking across some videos, I found Malukah by mistake, was a simple miss click which took me to this song and right now, I can say that this "miss click" has been so far one of the most beloved mistakes that I have done in my life. at the beginning I though that it could be something normal, in fact, I was expecting that it was "good enough" at least until I heard her. Speechless. I just sit back at the chair and smile, feel relaxed and smiled, "There's good people out there, this planet still have a chance" I said.

I know that everyone is hook at Skyrim right now, so I do take advantage of that to tell you all: Hear her, give it a chance and there's no mistake in this: You are going to smile and relax. Its quite epic and relaxing.

If you want more info about her you can just check Malukah youtube Channel or maybe just follow her on Twitter "@malukah" or in facebook at: malukah7 at stay tunned for any new upload or comment. I'm not usually the kind of person who says: "We got to support those who deserve it!!" But this time, I will, she deserves it and possibly there are more like her out there, and they need our support to continue bringing this epics covers.

Well, I gotta go before someone else in my office decides to play with the internet network and mezzed up all again, but before that, I'm gonna post the Vader trolling video, just in case that you dont know it... just in case.

just in case...

Well, good luck everyone! and have a great hunting!

Lorien'ing

I left Moria some days ago, in the weekend I think, and since then I have been a bit lost in Lorien (Sounds impossible, but its true). Mostly because I had this silly idea that I need it to be Ally with Lorien in order to enter to the woods, and I spent a lot of time working for those elves outside their domains. At least I got a decent experience rewards and several nice second ages (Not for my class, or course, its obvious >.<) and third ages as well.

I even ended this quest by mistake! Woot!... what I do not understand
its why, from all these 3 chests I can only open the small one...
The first chain of quests in Lorien are kinda boring, basically its all running and destroying and killing enemies, like if you where in the middle of a epic battlefield and everything depends on you. Burn some barricades, re-stock some arrows, kills 4 waylayer orcs and 10 random orcs, stole their weapons and even burn their own filth in the firecamp! And yes, I have no idea what I was exactly "burning"... Orc filth... ew.

JA! BURN ORC FILTH! BUUUURN!!!!
Gaw! what's that smell? O.o

I have my endless quiver at my back and another quiver at my hands...
I'm ready for everything!

Stairs... My old enemy...
Thanks to few friend of the kin, the refreshed my memory and told me that I only need to be more than Neutral to enter in Lorien's lands, so I decided to take a small look again and find some of the watch towers for the Deed but suddenly...

Wild Rare Elite appears!
He died several minutes later and I got the Mithril flake, Guaguanco was kinda near (Mirkwood) and while he was running fast to fight this evil rare, I was just stalking him. It felt good, in fack, I decided to try this toon on PvP for the next year so I'll work on any way to make my account as VIP, as i said before, in my country its kinda hard to do it, but not because they denied it, just because there are a lot of things that you have to do in banks and, if I hate Moria, I surely hate banks. Since I saw that I was not ready for Lorien, deep inside the golden wood, I went back to Haldir's little tree house and ended some quests that I had already taken. Today, I will end the book of Moria and I will one of my legendary traits that I need so bad.

Haldir's little tree house.

the only bad thing about that book, its the fact that I have to go back into Moria, I dont really want to go back into Moria, but I have to... Tonight its gonna be a long night, after all.. Foundation of Stones awaits for me and all those creepy alien things that live down there.

Khas at the bank in Moria. This is the only bank that I really like.
Also, I want to do some skirmishes, with a group, not alone. Alone its pretty good when you want to get the deeds and to know the place, but after that, a group its the best way to go, no matter what exactly. Especially Way of the Smiths skirmish, as Range, I guess that I can stay on the supervisor's platform without any trouble while I just only pew, pew, pew the orcs from there. :)

Well, gotta go, lunch time! have a great time my friends and good luck! see you later :D

A long way to go

Since I was looking in my old screenshot folder, I saw a small demonstration of the good days that I had in the past. Not only working hard to keep this blog somehow "updated" (Which I know that I failed at it) but also all the adventures (Yes, virtual ones, still: Adventures) and the friendships that I have gathered across this last year and a bit.  Lots of people just play games like this to prove to the world, realm or server that they are the best of their class, others just for fun, few of them just because they need something else to spent their time and many others to make good friends and spend a great time while online.

I can be represent in many of them except for the core part, I know that inside all of us there's a noob player, a medium player and a core player, and I'd say that I'm located between the noob and the medium, even if I have the temper to be a core player, this task ask for many hours playing the game and running instances instead of doing others good things inside the game. So, I focus myself in instances, few of the PvP (Which is funny and somehow I could become a addict for short times) and make friendships, after all: I'm just looking to play a game and enjoy it while I can.

So, this post is dedicated to all the good fellows that I have meet in my journeys or even those that I know in real life and now we play together in Lotro.

Dungrath, killing trolls in Dungrath...
Antare and Asgand, one RP session that we had that ended in a drunk wrestling
and just some weird bard playing Bard's song...
And Guaguanco, the runekeeper, helping me with some quests.
Asgand if from Colombia, I know him from the Order of the Silverflame, like me, he was the only latin player of the kin so that maded to spend more time together doing quests and trying to see if we could do some RP eventually. We had some sessions and they were good, yet, we both need some practice.
Dungrath, Antare and Guaguanco (Yes, all dwarves) are friend from here, my country. I made them come to this dark side with all the cookies and candies that I promise and then, they were wrapped into this madness... And they can get out now. :3

Mavileth, the beloved in Mirkwood.
How I meet Mavi was kinda funny, when I just started the blog, I added her to the Facebook account that I have for Varsalla but never said a word, just add. Eventually she found me in the bank of Bree and we started to talk normally, I was kinda rude at the beginning (rude, but not like a ogre or something, just a bit.. absent minded) due I was trying to figure it out out to healing, and I was confused  with all the skills and thinking that I was gonna run into some instance and gonna get killed. mavi has become a real good friend inside the game, a cheerful person and a great player (her main is a Hunter, yet she is playing a Minnie right now) and she is ready to help.

Doing an instance with Mavileth, Bele and Ruper (Who is in Hispania)
It would be really rude from me if in this post I didnt include all the Order of the Silverflame, they were the ones who guide me with Varsalla until I reach lv 73, sometimes I kinda miss them a lot, they were always helping and joking around about everything, and the best thing of all, they were not with prejudices about my english... as other kins did and fellowships as well... Anyway, with them I learned to heal with the old minnie version (Before Rise of Isengard) and felt how Raids looks like in thisgame.

The blind one, to be the first time for me in here, they did pretty well
while i was dead on the floor :3

I'm still in touch with Widoch, we usually see each other in Moria while are we crafting or something, kinda funny and yet, Widoch is always cheerful and kind, like the rest of the kin. but the game tends to change all the time and I did the same, I changed and I went to another Kin, Hispania, were everyone is talking spanish (in their very different way) and things go great. as you know I was a bit reluctant  of being in a Latin kinship, sometimes because I didnt understand them even if they were talking in spanish or maybe just because I had some bad experiences in WoW Latin servers while in American servers everything was smoothly. But Hispania has proven that I was wrong and right now I'm still there, joking and doing instances, helping others and trying to be a good player that could represent the kinship one day.
I swear I didnt do this... it was all their fault!
Definitely this kind of games can make you have great friendships, since now the distances seems to be not that important (We have pleeenty of ways to communicate) and they can long for a long time. Same deal with my friends of WoW, I still miss them a lot and if I go back to WoW it would be only for them, since the game is not what it used to be for me right now.

Well, gotta go, this post was suppose to be released yesterday but i got new screens and I was looking in all my folders so I could leave none behind, but you have to understand... 1.19Gbs of Screens (Let's say that i have more than 3,800 screens... Remember, I'm like a old guy with a new camera, noobing around and taking pics everywhere and to everything.) its not a easy task... In fact, checked only few folders... :3

Well, have a good night, or day, my friends! good luck and see you all ingame! :)

Crafting, worthy?

I dont know, that's has been always, for me at least, something to discuss about. it is true that Crafting its more than a hobby rather than a real profession, only at higher tiers or when you are just starting the game as everyone else, is when you can actually find a real use to it. For example, I have jewel crafting with Khas, and i normally level it up polishing gems, making few hope tokens and JC guild tokens... but rarely some jewelry for me or any other character in the game.

I'm not saying that it useless, sometimes you can find someone who wants to buy it in the AH or maybe asks you to work for him by making those pieces, if you are lucky, of course. Only professions like Alchemy in WoW or Scholar in Lotro, even Cooking in both, can be use to get some profit eventually. Again, at higher levels.

One good thing of Lotro is that you have the Outfit option, so those vocations that have Armor crafting skills can be benefit for that even more, some of the designs are almost unique and good looking and ppl looks them to make their character a bit more epic, sometimes more brave, even more sexier and sometimes, and why not? funny. Weapon crafting skills are always asked at higher tiers when you want to go to raids and you have nothing better than a simple weapon that you could change for a better, more decent one, like for example when you reach lvl 60 (like me) and you realize that you have bunch of lvl 55 Legendary weapons in training... yesterday I destroyed them all in order to get some new relics and train better weapons, lvl 59. And I know that when I reach lvl 65 I'm gonna look forward to make a second age weapon just to confront Enedwaith and Dunland with something second age on me... as long as they look good, of course.

But jewel crafting... Out items are easily replaced sometimes or even sometimes even harder to get than a random drop from a boss in a instance, its not fair enough... One thing that perhaps its still good in WoW are the gems, and the skill of making several gems that allows you to get more stats... you could sell them all at any time if you wanted, and maybe its because of that that in WoW the prices at AH were just more than impossible... 500 gold for a 35 str gem? Really? when you wanted to sell it to a regular vendor he offered you no more than 20 gold...

What I can't deny its the great animation while you are working, it was one of the first things that I like it about this game,

Eventually, and thats for sure, you will hate the Clanck! clanck! clanck!
of the hammer and the anvil... but the animation its quite more realistic than other games.

I still dont know how I polish all my gems with a hammer...
And why all of them are red...

And how I polish them by hitting the pincers...
Hardly to believe that I'm at Supreme tier...
Of course, not everything is great in the crafting system of Lotro, the Crafting system, as I said before, is called "Vocation" and each Vocation have 3 professions that you can't change. For example, you will always get the main or core professions, my case its jewel crafting. Also you will get a gathering profession to fulfill your main professions, in my case its prospecting... And then you will get a painful professions, in my case: Cooking. What does have to do Cooking with Jewelry? I dont know, I guess that its a balance so you can still earn gold at all moment, or maybe they were just joking around and decided to put some cooking in this vocation... I do not know...

I'm not against cooking, it is a bit painful to level up, especially if you have no gathering skills to work it, and some recipes asks you for different facilities, such as Oven, Master Oven (Which I do understand) and Firecamp... Firecamp... Really? what's the difference between a Oven and a firecamp? in the game both are fueled by logs and its basically fire... And not all the firecamps works as cooking facility, only those that can be made with the skills, or by hunters... the ones that hunters fixs as camps, can't be used, at least, the one of the screen.

Well, you can't see it, but its near the Dwarf...
It is me or this cooking animation its like the SIMS cooking animation? Sorry, I'm just angered against some recipes and the stuff that you have to use, do just to get 6 points per food. have you seen the size of the tools? I do really understand that in a Crafting hall I can use a table for jewel crafting, or anvils... but can you really explain where do I hide that big bowl? I can even use as a shield!

One good thing of the Crafting duties is that makes the Kin to work together, even if they dont know that they are in the same place working, just the presence of many Kin mates under the same name gives the Kin a good looking aspect, as dedicate and working players.

That's Ragnorn, focused on the farming skills.

The Dwarf Pitagoras, making some bars and getting annoying with all the clanck, clanck, clanck around

And Salahaddin... not so sure what he was doing in the Crafting bunker
but he was there, so maybe he was crafting...
Thats why when people ask me about the hobbies of the game, I always replies that also vocations are hobbies, not only fishing. Crafting it could may not worthy all the time, but sometimes, its the best solution for many troubles, you need gold? craft and sell, you need better gear? craft and wear, you want to give a present that its having a party, by any reason... Craft and give. Its worthy, you only have to find for what its worthy of. :)

I'm out, gotta do more things at work, have a good time my friends and see you later!
