The honor of the Dwarfs

The next post may have spoilers...

A race that could be a challange for most of the players is the Dwarfs, for example, you need to feel admiration for Dwarfs to make one, or just find a funny look that you could use for 65 lvls, I'm sure, in my own opinion, that Dwarfs are less common than humans and elves and a bit more common than hobbits in the game. In lords of the rings you barely see other Dwarfs (Other than Gimli, of course) but lots of others races.

In the game, the conflicts between elves and dwarfs is present and in Mirkwood is normally to see the Hidden Guard complaining about them all the time, and you can get sick of them in Moria. Honestly, and it's not because Varsalla is a Elf, I ended Moria with a certain need that could be defined as "I dont want to see any of them again.. ever..."

The Bróin tale with Mazog was becoming a lil' too painfull but I can't deny that I had fun in doing it, yet, the story has, so far, no tale to say... Until these quest, in where you finally delivered Mazog to the Dol'guruth (barely know that name) fortress. At the beginning, the NPC that I like most of the Hidden guard lies on the floor wounded and poisoned, the "leader" of the hidden guard is quite angry due all the friendly deaths that this quest had gathered and in some way, he is right. Also, now, Bróin is not near and no one know anything about him.

The elves are angry, yet, some of them have hope. Others simple dont.
This story speaks about honor and loyalty, and about the things that others could do for others as long as they remain as friends. Mazog, by his side is trying to poison the elves minds with certains words that some of them could be truth and others just a empty, dark lie.

Filthy Mazog... I hate that you can't say a word...

Bróin dissappear is quite strange and Mazog, taking advantage of that, speaks freely in the room about the honor of the dwarfs, the might of the elves and tries to make a pact with them, suddenly, out of the nothing and when the elf leader was almost convinced with Mazog words, Bróin shows up.

"Where is he now?"
"HE, is here!"
Bróin felt that he was debt with the wounded elf lady for leetting Mazog to take the antidote for the poison instead of her, so the exchange could be done perfectly and he decided to make for her another antidote even if he had to walk miles and miles to search for one flower that only grows in the old tombs across some places in Eriador.

"How YOU doing, babe?"
Dwarfs and Elves, at the end of that part are convinced that they need to work together and the Hidden Leader ask for forgiveness for his harsh words against the Dwarf. Now, they stand together in front of the fortress and they are ready to overcome anything in order to rescue his friend from the enemie's hand.

Wow... I can feel a instant wipe here...
Even if this quest is basically a RP event, its quite good for my point of view. Friendships are renewed, the evil shows their evil side without doubts and teachs you that you are not the hero of the game, and that sometimes to win you need o retreat for now.

3 Dwarfs in front of us, none of them is the one that we came looking for...
and we are stunned. Not good.
Finally the enemy starts to show up and you can feel the dread overcoming your senses fast, the screen turns grey and blurry and your map becomes a huge eye of fire that tells you that he is seeing you. We all were doomed as the human of Mordor started to kill the captives dwarves and let us know that we were going to be the next.

Also, Evil is Evil, they dont care about anything and they do despicable things...

Like killing a hostage...

And filling you with dread...
I wont say how this ends, because you need to complete it by your own, but I will say that in all the RP events, this one, even if is not the best ever, its pretty great and has a great story to watch. Yet, even if the things that happens there are quite sad and dreadful, is without any doubt, pretty great.

This tale made me wanted a Dwarf character, sadly, I have no use for one of them, all the classes that the dwarves have I have them already and, also, no slots free for characters, I made a new character called Ebherthon of Rohan, my only male toon and so far is going pretty good, a hunter like Khas, but just for fun.. for now.. in fact, take a look of his appearance:

Still on Combe, he is a lvl 12-old only :D

And this is me, messing around with some cosmetics...
this one looks pretty good, right?

Well, I'm leaving to my home, good luck everyone and have a great hunting! Today there's a chance that I'll be on a Raid, yet it's not sure... My gear is pretty low and I dont want to be the one that puts everyone in danger :( Maybe more Gear and Rep gatahering is what I'm going to find in few hours.

Later :3
