Gwar! I want hobbitses for dinner!

With the arrive of Rise of Isengard the feature knowed as "Monster Play", the only PvP option in the game besides dueling like crazy in bree lands outskirts, was enable for Premium and Free to play players. Since I was so excited with all Rise of Isengard opening I run fast to check Varsalla's new changes, or better: New Minstrel class, and then I made a ugly reaver just to see the game in another perspective. The Evil Perspective.

Since it was the frist day of the expack, you can imagine that there was a LOT of reavers running around and offering duels and stuff. Since I was doing just a simple reporter duty to see how it was to be green and ugly, I decline them all and checked all the vendors.

And I'm going to be called as Angaraloth... for now...
Why for now? I dont want to be a green, ugly and smelly orc, I want to be a brown, furry, smelly warg in the evil side, but I wanted to save the name of the character from the beginning. It was kinda sad looking that there were no options to make your own face and body style, but then I saw that your traits are somehow similar to the Skirmish soldier and that you could buy, with some several ranks on your shoulders, some new looks, which I hope they are going to be great.

I haven't checked so far this option, as I said before and I'm not going to deny that I dont like the PvP option... until I kill someone in the game and suddenly everything get even tastier. One thing that I didnt like too much was the fact that I couldnt go and do some PvP with Varsalla, my main and I hope Turbine add the option to allow that you can use some characters in the free people side, no matter if you have to buy the slot for 1k Turbine points.

But for nw I have a lot of work with Varsalla so PvP its not going to be a real option, I have saved the Turbine points for th Warg already but something inside me tells me to wait... Even if I have the expack, you'll never know when they will add a new instance or anything and how much that could cost.

Hey! I'm tall! its just that walkign in this position is
priceless to scare hobbitses
Well, I gotta go for now, good luck everyone! and good luck hunting some hobbitses! :3

Rise of isengard!

YES! Isengard is not live! (And yes, also, I haven´t been around in a week, but between work and the fact that googles hates me, it´s kinda like a war in here... I´m still having troubles from time to time to upload the blog page :/)

It is hard to say how excited I was with Isengard during the download time and how amazing it was when I logged into the game, also, as well, how creepy was looking at my entire modify spells on my action bars too. Yes, We minnies got re-builded, in a entire way. I do not know if the other classes got several changes, so far I sneak in the hunter, the guardian (Which was like... almost no change at all) and possibly in other but I do not remember) and the minnie Dev Diary had like 7 pages. 7 pages of full changes.

My new action bar after few changes.
Maybe some of you could say: "Eh.. its like.. the same.." But I´m afraid that it could look like the same but now its something between minstrel and warden... well, not a Warden, like Lotro Warden, but now our ballads grants us bonus and depending on which one we use first, the abilites changes a bit.. for a bit.. anyway, forget that part... I´m just still excited. Downloading Isengard was kinda a pain, I heard the rumor of the servers crashing and the high volume of players trying to get inside but I didnt want to believe in them until I feel them.. and I did.

The Downloading time took me at least 1 hour, while the installation time was like another hour (Taking in count that it had, for some reason, a critical crashing in the process) But the wait was worthy and I had my chance to play it on the night of my Monday 26, Septemeber.

The Dunlands... What mysteries holds?
I just reached, in this precise moment... well,10 minutes ago, lvl 66, only by doing quests in the first part of the Dunlands know as The Bonevale. As you can imagine, with the name as a hint, this place is mostly wights and tombs, with some Dun-people around from time to time. And, this is for all the scholars, if you thought that Moria had hundreds on Scholar boxes on the floor for us to gather mats... I have 400 Westfold crafting mats on my backpack thanks only to the day and a half of my adventures there, while I did more than 34 quests in the place (I have a deed that says that, that{s why I know the min. number of quests done) and only 1 extra lvl.

Lots of chests, coffins and corpses...
Pick them all, not only for the scholar, but if you see a treasure, pick it up, right now tat are quite bountiful with some vocation and have always a decent number of mats inside. and a fast respawn sometimes as well.

Not kidding, lots of them...
Since we all are leveling together, it is not wise from me to spoil things of the quest, but so far the quests have been fun and excellent, the rewards looks great (Yet, I haven´t find anything that I would like to keep... all have Will and Vit, and I want Will and fate and a bit of Vitality if its possibly...) due the new designs, and seems like the zone is basically holded in one goal: Complete the entire zone before you can leave to another.

Of course, it is not weird seeing ppl already on lvl 71, today I saw one lvl 72, which is quite overwhelming. reminds me a lot of WoW when Cataclysm came out, It took me 5 days to get Khas to lvl 85 and realize that I had done all the stuff but haven´t enjoyed the game after all. In my Kin there´s people doing races not only for leveling but also for vocations and crafting guilds, and since the temptation is just to great, that´s the reason why I´m not using the kin chat right now, staying in a wntire new channel called: OCTITA. (One Channel To Ignore Them All). It´s my first Expack in this game and I feel like I want to enjoy it greatly, and since my will power its quite low, I know that only reading the comments, I will fall into the race.

And there´s just too much to explore.

Deja vu...

Well, gotta go to work, there´s a huge chance that the Blogspot page wont open there so I´ll be writting again tomorrow (Still, I´m gonna try, I made a Orc Reaver that deserves a introduction... even if I really want to be a Warg... but i need to pick.. or the Warg or Varsalla... and a blog named Warg´s songbook doesnt sounds too good... right?)

Good luck and enjoy the game!

A weekend

This past weekend was kinda different, spending time on Lotro as I usually do was not a possible thing after all, since on saturday I decided to spent gran part of the day with a good friend of mine who is "somehow" playing lotro... and WoW... but she loves more WoW than lotro, so, that's from where the "somehow" comes from. Also, on Saturday I had to go to the office due some proyects that were being more than a simple pain and they had to be completed...

While I was out from my home I was thinkina  lot in what I talked with Dei, my friend, about WoW and that made me feel a bit nostalgic, I know that I usually go hard on WoW but after all, I can't deny that WoW is a good game... sadly, it changes a lot every few due all players complaiments. Also, this chat made me feeling sad for leaving my hunter behind in the game and mostly because she have the name of all my mains... So I decided to fix that and I leveled her a bit and got my legendary weapon with her as well.

I... have a Deja vú...
Leveing with a hunter was quite hard after leveling with a Mintrel. It is true that Minstrels are not maded for melee fights and nasty wars, but the fact that all her attacks are instant and you can run while you are attacking or just deactivate a toggle effect, wait for 10 secs and PAF! full healing mode with fears to send far your enemies... it's priceless... Being a hunter or a Champion (I tried again Serendis but neeeeeeh, Khas was way funnier) its, sometimes, not a good option. Despite the medium armor or the heavy armor, but fact that you have to be in the same place fighting against your enemy its a terrible idea.

With Khas, I was having that trouble, could not run and had to stay to wait fot my enemy melee arrival and pop out several cooldowns sometimes was my challenge, also, I have no "still as dead" skill and HONESTLY... that's a useful skill... Ok, ok, I have desperate flight but sometimes the graveyards are horrible far away. Anyway, I got my legendary bow and got it to lvl 7 so far, ended some quests on Eregion and from 46 I took her to lvl 46 almost at the end.

Not only quests, but also I advanced on crafting

I'm pretty sure that this spear has something wrong...
he is always working on it...
But I need to confess that for first time I'm between the sword and the wall, since I have a certain love for Khas and for what she means (Yes, I'm that creepy dude that makes all his toons with fragments of friends or meanings... I think that I do it mostly to gave them more time and care or maybe I'm just freak and creepy) I cannot be away from Varsalla due all the experiences in the game (lvl 65) and all the open plces that I could visit in few minutes....

But right now I decided to get fully prepared to Rise of Isengard, not a easy task thanks to all my crippled Virtues in 6.. now, thanks to the valars, in 8 and all the work that I need to complete... LOTS of things... So Khas will have to wait again, even if it brokes a bit of my heart, maybe for her own good so I can work seriously on getting mats and better pieces for her travel into Moria, or maybe just because I will be deeply inmerse on Isengard and I will leave her behind.

I have to go.. Sadly, I need to notify that my blogger has been again a bit evil, so posting its not a easy task right now, I guess that I have to reinstall my browser (Even if that means deleting my Angry Birds application) but I'm taking a long time with that... for now, I will stop posting from the office, but only from my house.

Take care friends of the middle earth and good luck!

Varsalla, the Warrior Skald

In previous posts I was talking about the rift and the awesome cosmetics clothes that the rewards offer you as long as you get all the necessary runs and tokens and marks, which, I cannot deny, are sometimes a bit, but just a bit, too much.

I'll talk about the skirmish in the next post, I have already the screen uploaded and some of them are pretty good, but for now I want to talk about the cosmetics in there, which have several details. First of all, since I started to make runs inside skirmishes, I always wanted a set but sadly this set was only for high level character since it had to be only with this skirmish, Rescue somewhere-which-name-I-dont-know, in the Rift, the armor was pretty good and the helmet, well, I had several helmets to pick and sadly, the one thathad something to do with bards and minstrels in the name was kinda ugly...

You can imagine my emotion and happines when I unlocked the skirmish, I spent like 10 runs inside (Taking aside that the quest grants you with some lefnuillan marks already) to get the entire set that I need it: Helmet and Hauberk. Since Varsalla is in fact a warrior Skald, for her traits, and I was taking her role not as a bard or even less (As I used to say) like a Roguish bard, I certainly need it some good looking clothes with me and only Rift had them on stock... and I got them.

This is the helmet... pretty nice, right?
Maybe the colors that I have on them (The original ones) are not the best colors but for now suits me great, and yes, I know that I could look a bit evil but I really dont care, I was using the Rohan cosmetic items but I realized.. "What does a elf from Lórien with a Rohan tunic?" and I was wondering and wondering, reason why in some of my old screen you could see me in several cloths, one that makes me look like a roguish bard and the other from Rohan.

Me, posing in Enedwaith, trying to get a decent screen.
It didnt took me too long to get those skirmish, the Rescue is kinda fast but extremely deadly so I had to go with care inside that place. The helmet and the hauberk, which is what I wanted, force you to get 15 Lefnuillan medallions and almost 2k or maybe more of Skirmish marks, and the worst part there are the Lefnuillan marks, since you need the random encounters to obtain them and some of them are just to cheating...

The helmet is the expensive.. 10 Lefnuilland marks and more than 1k of skirmish marks...

While the hauberk is not expensive, 5 tokens and 386 marks or so (Skirmish marks)

One good thing about this cosmetic is that is not Bind on Pick up, so either you can sell it or maybe you can sent it to another character that you want to have the armor. as a break from questing, doig this place was like a bleesing, everything went easier after that, but not coz I learned few things, but just because I was more motivated to got good looking cosmetic item; it would be great to gather a Raid or full fellowship group to see how insane is the game at. againt two palyers it's already nasty...

Well, gotta work, I have to work until 7am due a expo that we hve in less than 1 week, good luck my friends and have a great hunting!

The last of the rangers

Yes, I was searching for the others rangers but at some point I was invited to the Library for the Superior Third Marks and other rewards as well, so far I had done one of them, in fact, I didnt knew that this place had several parts by the moment I ended the first place and I was quite happy for my marks. Was kinda funny coz the dialogue was something like:

I love this instance and the challenge of the last boss, save 10 bookshelves from the fire in less than few minutes, you barely have time to make any wrong movement or everything its going to be for nothing. The first boss its the one that I really dont understand that much, he has a nasty silence and two bodyguards, but for some reason, even if the tank get all the attention, I always get some aggro and some of those guys (Usually the boss) hits me hard >.< I guess that he have a Aggro reset or something... maybe Improve Minnie's hate...

Woot! Fellowship manouvers!
My first time in the second instance of the Library was a bit rough, I didnt knew the fights and I died once then had to run back fast and help with the healings, and I died in the most dumb way, just at the beginning of the last fight, when the boss got the aggro and the birds were stating to get all the aggro as well... I decided to heal the tank... Well, no one is perfect and I had no idea what to do there.

It would be nice a sign in the grass: "Dont step the grass, angry birds"
Since these place is basically a library in ruins, you can guess that I just love it as I almost ove all the ruins in the game, and its not too far from reality, I did, and the best part of all is that I got a nice title: "Varsalla Darksong, Tutor" from there, well, dont know exactly if was from that last instance or maybe from the first one, but I got it which is the most important, and it was from somewhere around.

The crafting guild should be more like these...
and clean, of course....
With lots of books and lots of books and none web...
Maybe few webs... but definitily that statue among others....

Anyway, after those places I hadto go back to my ranger summoning duties, this time In Evendim, to talk with Calenglad again. like all the other rangers, he wanted me to help him to protect some relics in some part of Annúminas or somewhere around and since you can´t say no in this game, I agreed... it would be nice to say: "Sure Calenglad, let´s save some relics from that ruins... anyway, what Aragorn needs can wait, it´s just the ring war, you know? nothing serious..." *Sarcasm*

At least, more ruins :3
This part of the instance was a entire surprise for me, Calenglad suddenly decided to do something else and he leaved me alone in the lower parts, near of what looked like the old sewer, infested with green water, robbers and their leaders... but since I´m a Minnie and Minnies dont know fear... honestly, how we could if we fight against the forces of evil with a lute or flute?.. I went alone and killed everyone inside, like if I were a Sith.. maybe.. I AM a Sith...

*Imperial March.Mp3"
Calenglad in here.. well.. this was weird... Im not going to spoil... ´just do it and you´ll see...

Amm.. guys... I gotta go... somewhere...
Then I was sent to Forochel, to a fast quest with a incoherent ending... The Ranger in here was searching for some howls in a cave and that could be the reason why some of the stuff that the Lossoth had in storage was  taken from them... Like Calenglad, he only help you in the first half of the instance and in the last fight.. which you really need no help at all...
uhh.. icy effects are fun... even if actually the bear had that size...

Do you remember her? hardly to say when all the NPCs looks alike, right?
Well, that lady over there was blaming ME about ruining HER life... it is funny since I had no idea who was her after all, and the ranger was asking me if I knew her and from where... Well, she is from Angmar, that´s all that I´m going to say, it was so good to hear about old characters tat I´m not going to spoil who is her... but what I didnt get is why she was in Forochel and she wanted to settled scores with me... I mean, I know that she hates me and stuff.. but.. in Forochel? I dont even have that quest pack... I dotn even like Forochel.. in fct, I hate Forochel!

Well, the last Ranger of all is in Angmar... /sigh... yes, Angmar, but the good thing about this is that allows you to unlock the last skirmish of the game, I mean, the last that comes free with the updte of the skirmishes. Its a fast skirmish but its great, ofers more perils than the others that you can easily have since in all the waves, the Leutenients are summoned to battle and some of them are, like the bloody bird, nasty to fight in small places...

Ok.. are you sur that Golodir is here?

Well... I guess that thisis going to be nasty...
The onlybad ting about this Skirmish... is the talking.. good Valars, how those two guys talk! >.< Its like a endless chat when all you want is to get your reward and get out of that hot place... One good things that makes this chatting more easy to stand its the fact that the best cosmetic clothing from the skirmish is located in here.. which I already got the Hauberk and the helmet and now I look like a true Warrior Skald for Isengard :)

yes, yes, you are sorry, yadda, yadda, yadda, guys.. can you give me mymarks and get ou of here?
After this quest, I was ready to go questing normaly in Enedwaith.. even if I have already done several quests there of course. This was the epic chain (Part I) that I have enjoyed most, as I say in a previous post, it lets you know few things about your old adventures, things like what were doing the others while you were in Moria, or what its happeningor what other do feel about some places... its nice to see that Turbine has been taking under consideration that for the epic books, makes you feel to be in a normal game and not in a online game... Sometimes...

Well, gotta go, too many things to do at work! good luck my friends adn have a excellent hunting!

Ruins, I just love them

While I was doing the Enedwaith quests I came across some ruins that so far I think that they are the best ruins ever. It is true that their design are not as good (In a ruined-style) like Dessolad or Delossad... I really have to write those names somewhere near... Anyway, since that place, where Narmeleth was hidden, posses a unique grade of destruction that it´s just hard to equal.

But, if we are going to talk about the size of the ruin, this one, it´s without any doubt, the winner is Minas Elendúr, a open instance like in Eregion, located near the Redhorn Pass. It is true that if you want to enter you nee to be in the second part of the epic quest book of Enedwaith since you need to go inside to save a dwarf jeweller that got ambushed by some uruks under the band name Ninkoths. the place is so big that inside you have a deed with several parts, like exploring the entire place, which have like 23 parts...

Amazing how the water it´s still clear and clean.. even with the Uruk´s invasion
and the pass of the years...
One thing that was really funny to see is that this ruins, maybe the are not "Haunted" but you can still see some fragments of the past on it, like for example Sauron disguised as The Lord of gifts (That you actually need to complete Narmeleth´s epic book to see who is he in fact, since he has no ID as ghost) or some Orcs fighting against some elves...

So it was you?! Now I see why this room adds me Dread...
The ruins are divided in two parts, one of them is the upper part, called minas Elendúr while under this floor there are some forgotten cellars know under the name of Delotham, if you want to rech all the places of this ruin, I fear that you have to venture in all the floors and by all the doors, especially when some of those doors sends you in a portal to some closed upper balconies.

I´m not joking when I saw that this place is quite big, maybe it´s not like those amazingly large instances, but to be a small open instance it is big, and the respawn in here is pratically nasty so take for sure that you will need empty backpacks, lots of food and some potions, even if the patrols are not create like to make mistakes and generates large pulls.

If you were a bit more... destroyed... just a bit more...

<3
About the denizens of this lace, well, there´s not a lot of variety. For instance you will see more Uruks than nothing else, some of those Uruks, of course, are signature, since they are like the leaders. So far I have see them in Delotham only, but I can´t be sure if in Minas Elendúr you will find some. also, in your exploring you will cross alogn with some lizards which for some reason they are all hostile and some lost salamanders too, which have no reason to be there but ok, yes, its fine to see different mobs from once in a while.

Some of these rooms are pretty high enough, so be sure to explore
all the doors...

Inner courtyards... seems like the garderner didnt miss in his duty,
it looks better than my own, in game, house yard...
If you dont like closed spaces, then I have a bad news for you. Delotham is like those halls of Great barrows at the beginning of the game. Remember? when you were new in the game and suddenly got a invite for that instance and everything was extremely closed in and you were going insane due the space... Well, maybe this place is a little bit bigger, but not too much, closed halls, somehow better rooms, also with fragments of the past... or whatever they are...

Hmm.. yeah.. right... I see..

The Uruk bosses are not happy with you in there..
Ok, going back to reality, its a big place, but it not HUGE, so you can explore it fast and easy if you just want to get the deed. For the quest inside, giving by sme dwarf, things are just a bit different since he ask you to get some chests and kill some Uruks, the Uruks are not the problem as I said, since the Respawn is pretty nasty and you are going to be in a fight at least the 90% of your time in there, but the chests.. he asks for four chests but he entire place have only 8 of them I think, and they are not in random location, which sometimes it´s worst.

Its a good place, sadly, for what I have seen, they didnt took enough advantage of it, just one quest inside, one that leads you there and one deed... maybe you can complete any other deed while you are inside, but so far, the only stuff of that place is that, nothing else.

Well, I gotta go to work! good luck my friends and have a great time!

Searching for rangers, part II

Well, talking about the rangers and their own problem in Eriador, there's a lot to say. This chain quest is not just great for all the stories inside, but also for the rewards that you can recieve, certainly they are not going to make you raid in any way, but at least they are going to help you seriously in dungeons and some raids. Besides, there's a small intro for the Stat Legacies, which are always good enough.

After you help and gather all the rangers in Trollshaws, well.. you actually dont gather all the rangers in Trollshaws, just one and he is the one that have to gather them all, you are sent to Lone lands, to Candaith, who for some reason have one of the most incoherent quests ever... you have to do it to see how bad idea he has, but anyway, it's fast and perfect for speed duties.

"So.. yes, I should let you go half-orc, seriously... he deserves  that..."
Maybe, while you were reading th books or maybe watching the movies, you always had the curiosity about the rangers and what were they doing while Aragorn was fighting in the war of the ring, were they scratching their belly? playing poker? doing some farming? Possibly most of them, but this chain quest allows you to see the dedicated few rangers that were actually fighting for the middle earth sake.

And yes, that's a hobbit stuck in the bush...
This quest is a bit nostalgic, you have to walk for zones that you have walked in before, heard (or read) about old important characters, end some unfinished matters and see what happened with other's life after all the fighst and drama and plots. Some of them makes you think about several things, like the one of the statues in North-downs, they were still adoring a statue of Amarthiel while is well know that Amarthiel ended as a good, noble hero after Narmeleth borke free from that evil spirit... well. maybe the statue is a icon of Amarthiel's spirit and not body... nevermind, I'll let them worship it without any question.

Amarthiel's statue... somehow...
Mordririth's statue... somehow...

Witch King's statue... again.. somehow...

Despite the other chains of the game that involves ridings and painful minutes traveling from one side toanother, this quests offers you, as a part of the reward (That you have to pick) a fast map to travel from side to side in seconds and free. Its a fast quest chain, and lets you see what its happening in the others zones of Eriador while the rangers are summoned and how their choices affects others, a good tle to hear while you have a great ale and you are sitting in front of a cozy fire.

And its necessary to continue with some of the plot in Enedwaith, which I highly recomend it a lot. I guess that it's better to complete the epics books at the moment rather than wait few levels to make everything more easier, somehow, the story gets a bit ackward and you may loose the grip of the drama... I had, in one moment, some sort of troubles with Aragorn in Rivendell, I had done already the quest about let them walk to Eregion and few months later I was, again talking with Aragorn in Rivendell... creppy enough...

Well, gotta go, good luck everyone! I'll see you later, have a great hunting as well :D

Long path to south

Yesterday, after thinking a lot about the raids and stuff, I decided 100% to forget the Raiding stuff and and concentrate on my quests and Deeds so I can be perfectly ready for Isengard, since it's like in two weeks or the next one. Enedwaith quests are, without any doubt, waiting for me to reach those lands with the epic quest at the same time, why is that? I dont want to go back and forward again and again and again as I did with Angmar, maybe that's the reason why I hated that quest book so bad.. wait.. no, that was not the reason, the reaso was the traveling duties.

The first part of the chain is pretty nice, gathering all the rangers across the lands of Eriador and let them know that Aragorn needs them, I ended that part yesterday and I had fun, not only because the quests were great but because the side quests were in the same region of the world, and some of them were fast and got nice rewards. I even meet some ruins in Eregion, seeking for a wounded dwarf, that were amazing and amazingly bigger... I got lost inside that place several times. +1 for Eregion again, I think that this ruins are, perhaps not as well designed as Delossad but at least it's a big complex and totally ruined, full of Uruks.

Since I took the path of non-raiding-unless-I-got-a-better-equipment and also read all the fights by myself (I found out that sometimes it's better if I do that rather than wait for an explanation), I'm havng more fun than usual, in fact, I dont see the game as a race to enjoy the last days of Mirkwood and Moria and Enedwaith even if I was, perhaps, trying to do it. I'm guilty.

The vast lands of Enedwaith... Vast is the code word...

Nothing it's better than run out of food and found out that you were
close to a town... even if they are not 100% happy with you.

OMG! BILL?! eeerr.. wait.. You are not Mordrambor...
Dern.. another Champion...
After doing some quests and basically reaching the middle of the map, I took road back to North and decided to enjoy the quests as I should, with the Rangers summoned and the epic quests undergoing as well.

So I went back to North...

Reached at night to Trollshaws...
I already summoned the Rangers, as I say, and now I'm at the middle of the Enedwaith with them, but I totally forgot to bring some screens today so I have to work with the few ones that I have. The first Rangers was the most boring of all the side quests, each ranger have side quest (First of all), so, you call them, they answer, they ask you to do something, you help, and in return they go and help Aragorn... which makes me think that they really, or dont care a bit about Aragorn or they just dont want to go and they invent some excuses and when you help, they hate you and then, they answer to Aragorn's call.

Amazing that this cave, with no torches... it's so red and full of light...

Meh.. I do preffer Ruins than caves...

And no, Ruins inside caves dont work either... except Moria perhaps...
Perhaps...
This first quest is basic, go and kill some Orcs, melee orcs and defilers, then go and find their boss and kill him as well, AND if you survive, then go back with the Ranger and let him know so he will agreed to help Aragorn and the other rangers. I wonder if they took all the credit for doing the orc's quests or if they say: No, it was some random Minstrel who killed them all... Hmmm

I love the water effects in the late parts of the game...
That is also that makes me wonder, Did they changed all the water under the same water effect in the game while they were improving it? I mean, I have seen some pools that looks like a solid mass of water, more like jelly... and then you see Eregion or this cave and the water is so amazing... I dont know..

Well, gotta go, good everyone and have a great hunting! see you later :D

The spirits of Enedwaith

In the last post I talked about some woods in Enedwaith full of Ancient evils and trolls that also had some old spirits that the Grey Company had to convince to let them pass and to help them to be hidden from the enemy. Well, those quests are kinda epic and, somehow, kinda weird as well. As you leave the zone where the far cousins of the Hobbits are located, called Gloomglens, walking to the south as long as the map allows you reach the haunted forest of Mournshaws.

Haunted... why haunted? well, aside the demon dogs knows as Cun annun (Yes, I lotrowiki it) and the trolls, there are also those phantasmagoric lights know as Elhudan (yes, same with them). In this woods the things are quite different for us, the players, and the Grey Company... Old spirits of hunting take care of it and they dont take so easy the fact that some guys are trying to traspass their lands... so, as is logic, you have to earn their favour and their good will... Under several quests. and some of them are quite dangerous too.

After gaining the favour of the Alraig, the men of Enedwaith (Yes, those are the guys that I was calling for some reason Dunlands in the previous post), well, more like the unwilling favour since they are not happy that you gained a meeting with the old hunting spirits of the woods while they dont.. You are summoned to their Hall in where you are challenged to a quest of hunting, in which you have to challenge 3 spirits... A boar, a bird and a Ox in the first part.

The Boar quest:
Is a fight of power, you have to defeat the Boar spirit to prove yourself worthy of the favour of the huntress. This Boar is not hard to defeat yet, if you dont take it seriously, he can own you fast. Keep some potions with you and prepared for a great fight!

Wow... so this is the feeling from the boar's point of view when you are going to attack them...

The Bird quest:
Birds are not innocent in this game, some of them hates you and others are just sprites handle by the computer to make your escenary a bit more lovely. This one, in fact, is not hostile and ask you for a challenge of dexterity and speed. just run with him and dont loose him from your sight and you shall be good to succed. I won the race, so I recommend you to won it as well.

Most of the Loremasters would love to have you as a pet...
I'm sure of that.
The Ox quest:
Endurance, this is all about endurance. The ox is the most pacific spirit of the forest and in fact is the only one that is going to be nice with you, while the Boar hates yu and the Bird hate you a bit less, the Ox is going to be really friendly and wishes you good luck at the end... As long as you can protect him from the numerous waves of ghostly Cun Annun. One tip: forget about your potions, you wont be able to use them in the fight.

When you end those quests and walk again to the Hall of Hunting, a fourth challenge is open for you, the most dangerous challenge of the hunters. One of the ladies tells you that you have to overcome this challenge of wisdom, since you already won the Speed, Strengh and Enduarnce tests. But she warns you, this one is not going to be easy.

A white Stag is waiting for you in the other side of the pool, where the last challenge awaits for you.

Stag Quest:
Wisdom, what most of the players may dont have, is put in test in here. while in the others quests you only need of cunning and power, this one offers you a riddle with a 50% chance of make it wrong. The white Stag tells you to pick wisely since this could be your last challenge if you make a wrong selection.

Stag voice: Go on.. pick one...

As it was expected for me, I did a bad choice at the beginning and had to fight against a angered spirit which ended to be as a nemesis and a hard fight. Anyway, its not just because I'm a good player or something, but I killed the spirit and prove that I was stronger... funny thing is that didnt matter and I had to pick again.

Wow! wow! wait! dont hate meee!
HA! Now what?! I just killed one that counted as 10 of you!
And I did a nice choice, so now I had to defend the good spirit of wisdom against the other spirits now weakened for some reason. After that, like the Boar and the Bird, this animal spirit tells me to get that freaking hell out of there and notify my success in  even worst way.

Those quest are great but sadly, they end like: "Oh you did? nice... ok.. you can go on..."... clearly not what I was expecting for. but this quest chain is worthy of, besides, the ghostly realm is awesome, you should check it at least once.

Well, I'm about to drive home, good luck everyone and see you in game! good hunting! :D
