Nasty right? Totally.. the good thing is that for the moment in which you are going inside, this Balrog is dead. Gandalf solo'd him in some part that I actually think that you can visit... not so sure.
The big problem about Moria it's the size of the city. If I need to compare Moria with any other Expa zone in any other game, and its obviusly that I'm gonn atke WoW as example... I'm not afraid to say that it's bigger than Burning Crusade Expa... maybe even bigger than Northrend, or maybe the same size. But I think that has many more dungeons.
Well, that was the big problem... The big trouble is: You are inside a cave all the time. There's no "Look into the horizon" or "Check at the moon to see what time it is, please". Inside a mountain means INSIDE. They were no joking about this. Which makes this place even more huge since you can get any shortcut to somewhere.. unless you wanna jump AND theres a place to jump, of course. Chasms are present, and if you fell on them: You go into history... or Trade channel, depends in if someone saw you falling. Also, it has weird wells that sends you pretty far away and pretty high away as well... And yes: you are going to die.
So, the things that you need for Moria are these:
-Legendary weapons with Variety of legacies: Yes, normal weapons in here are sometimes not the best option and especially if you are a spell caster, (You dont care too much about Damage per second of your weapon). If you are a focused dps class, then you dont need to care about what kind of legacies your weapons should have, but if you can be Healer or Tank as well, having a mixed pair of legendary things (Or maybe more than a pair) is the best option. Ever.
-Food, lot's of food: Do you remember when you were outside Moria, that towns where everywhere and the same zone had some vendores located in differents points, making life easier... and you were complaining? Then you probably gonna hate Moria: Towns are even more rare than Legendaries drops. So, buy a lot of food, or cook it, or do whatever you need to do but get a lot, Trail, regenerative or the other kind, that I dont remember.
-Bags, at least 1 additional: Same trouble as food in here. Legendary items are not a so hard thing to find, and sadly they all require levels that you might have not achieve yet.. such as me, that I must had in my hand at least 20 legendary items, not all of them gems, but only 3 bags (obviusly not at the same time). All this without thinking in what normal loot you are going to get from enemies, or recipes or weapons.
-Speed buff: Oh, did I said that your horse, you lovely and faithful horse, is not allowed in Moria? Sorry, my bad... You dont have mount in Moria UNLESS the Miners of Moria feel that you are their friends... Yet, there's light in the dark, you can always be friendly with the Dwarves of Thorin's and get your own Goat-mount.
Well, I think that's all that you need. i just wanted to say something before going out with some friends, have a great night friends! and good hunting!
