Lets play some music, will ya?

I'm here again to talk about another great feature of the game: the Music.

No, not the game music that you hear when you are fighting or traveling in the game, but the one that you can "Make" in the game while are you playing. Yes, its not a lie, its a actual, awesome and perfectly feature that allow your toon to play a music, either improvised or from a file in your documents. It is normal that minstrels (*cough* The awesome class *cough*) can play some intruments with their attacks or healings spells, but it is also perfectly for normal players to do.. kinda the same.

I do think that this is a primary Roleplaying feature in the game, but had so much success that everyone, role-players and normal players as well spend part time of their play time doing a excellent performance (Well, sometimes) of some knowed songs around the Real world. The usual ones are Nothing else matter, Fear of the Dark, Zelda main theme between many others, and of course The Bard's song is on the list too.

The only thing that you need is the instrument equipped on your range weapon slot and type /Music to enter in the musician mode, then, depending on the name of the file that you have on the my documents>The lord of the ring Folder, type /Play Zelda (and example) and the tune will start. Be aware of few things: the file should be under .ABC format, (which you can find in the Fat lute web page) AND you can only play the intrument that your class have permission to.

We minstrels are so awesome that we have all the instruments in our list AND we can tutor you in the use of another instrument... for a fee Muahahahaha, joking... some of us dont charge for that as long as you are polite.

Read the info of the music file that your are downloading, I totally recommend that if the info says "Lute part", honestly... dont use the drums unless you wanna laugh a bit. Use the Lute or maybe Theorbo, depends on the file.

Theres a way, that I dont know yet, that you can actually make that your toon and your friend's toon, play a synchronized song as a band, which is great since few files have several parts of the song with several instruments. I do have to accept that you can find some great music in the Fat lute, some fellows take this music thing so seriously and I'm grateful for that... Yet, beware, some others have some sort of "things" that "may", in some moment "sound" like the song that you are after. Check that with your music program before doing a performance in front of your friends.

Theres also a way to play music maded by you, either making your own .ABC file or suing the numbers of your Keyboard while you press Ctrl, Alt, or Shift. With dedication and time you can make your own character song for some important events or Role-playing seasons.
