Talking about classes... Champions

Of the game, or course.

As you know, Lotro has several classes to play with, You have the classic classes that came with Shadows of Angmar (Guardian, Minstrel, Hunter, Burglar, Lore-Master, Champion and Captain) and the two "newest" classes from Moria: Rune-Keepr and Warden.

In my opinion, a great class to play with is the minstrel since it has a high difficulty and a greater window of messing things. Range attacks + alt-tab can be a horrible weapon sometimes. If has several attacks, mostly range, and buffs with each attack. Is a good class to play with.

But this time I'm gonna make a small review, based in my own point of view, about other classes. This tme I will take as topic the class of the Champion. I have one but I almost never use her, no reason why, just... I'm to deep with my minstrel to use another class.

The champion is a good class, if you like Melee Dps, fast and deadly, without doubt this is your main class and a good choice for interrupt for what I've read in Wiki. The three different trees of abilities allows you to use almost all kind of weapon, and even to perfom some Tank duties. Not the best tank for what I heard, but a good one sometimes. the Champion class is divided into 3 (Like the rest of the classes) which are:

The Deadly Storm: A Dual weilding weapon, great fighter of the middle earth. Capable to inflict with more precision Attacks based on Area, fast and deadly and without any doubt a fierce enemy. The love of the Deadly storm for everyone is priceless, reason why he cares in damaging everyone around him with the same passion.

If you wanna look awesome... go Deadly Storm...

The Berserker: I dont need many words to explain this Talent tree, right? When you go Berserker in sometign means that you just go for it, no matter what, at any cost. This Champions feels the same and they only want glory and great challenges. Using a powerfull Two-handed weapon, the can slice or smash their enemies easily.

Have to admit... that always Two-handed weapons looks awesome.

The Martial Champion: A great secondary Tank (or Off Tank) for Raids and instances, or maybe a good Main tank for some easy encounters in instances. This Champions dont look bad at all, in fact, shields are always great looking but is not usual to have them in the Tanking role. Yet, this is not a bad option to use while in End game or leveling.

If you wanna look elegant... And resist several horrible enemies hits
Go for the Martial Champion.

Even if the Champion is a good class for Melee, and it's the "Fighter" class, doesnt mean that is the easier class to play with. You have a special bar for your spell-like abilities called "Fervour" which allows you to use some certain abilities that are really, REALLY, nasty.

If you want some direct points of this class:

Pro: Can use Shields, Medium armor, Heavy Armor, almost all the weapons of the game, several AoE attacks, Can heal yourself with some attacks, can regain power with some spells.

Against: You dont have actually a powerful "pull" spell. Melee damage from the beginning of the fight to the end... can be painful. Fervour sometimes is more than a pain, some spells can drain your morale too.

My opinion: (Based in the fact that I have one lvl 30 or so) Go for it. It's a fun class, Melee Dps is the most normal thing in the game but is also the most funny and capable solver for certain troubles in game.
