A warning for new players

Usually, experience comes with a bit of suffering and dificult moment like, for example, your first time learning how to ride a simple bike. Maybe you had that small taste of floor, maybe you were scared at the first time or maybe, when you had a lot of experience you just fell in the floor and taste it anyway.

Well.. maybe not like this...

But something like this...

That's just a example of a ordinary accident that everyone could meet someday. In Lotro, is normal that you will find death in every corner, especially if this is your first time. New spells, maybe you are not used for that kind of mobility, maybe the graphics blinded you, maybe your cat scared you or your hamster went berserker against the screen... Things just happens.

But in Bree, the most normal accident has a proper name: Baurgarch.

Is amazing how greed can work on us, the humans. If you see a rare mob the first thing that you think about is: "Oh, Shinnies!" (In your first play time) but if you have more time, several rare-kills on your list and some experience, you say: "Ohhh shardies.. and maybe Shinnies!" (Not so sure if "Shardies" is the right word, I'm just butchering the english again).

Baurgarch is not just a "Rare mob" that walks in Chetwood forest. he is a Elite mob that we usually (at the beginning), we mistake with a Rare mob. A lvl 15 warg that respawns like every 10 minutes and walks around the Blackwold ruins in the forest like if he were the boss is our target in this post. Usually, Rare-mobs are not easy to kill, neither too hard, you just need to have maybe some potions, know your spells well and just go berserker on him. you can handle rare mobs easily, but not Baurgarch since he is Elite. He is HARD to kill in low levels.

I found him several times with all my past toons and frankly, I always scared when I'm lvl 10 - 17 around that zone with any character, hoping not to see him. Once there was a bug that two of them were just walking.

My advice is: Dont go against him unless you are prepared. Check what Lotro-wiki says about him:

Wandering through the Chetwood and the Blackwold camp is a vile Warg
that came with someone out of the North.
Baugarch is feared by all who dwell there,
even the wild wolves who make their den to the west of the Blackwold encampment.
Many an unwary woodsman has vanished in the Chetwood, taken by the evil Baugarch.

And this is the beast: (Getting owned by a far high lvl, Muahahahahahaha-ha!)

I knew it! one day I would have my revenge!

Check out his stats: 1.197 Hp and 380 Power. He almost reach my morale bar at lvl 40 with lvl 32 gear on. This guy knows no jokes.

Good luck and see you later!
Good hunting for those who are playing right now!
